One way to get through our current challenges is to refocus daily on what you can do. This practical, cross-cultural wisdom is described nicely in Masanobu Fukuoka’s One-Straw Revolution. Don’t get trapped in working for the sake of work, he cautions, but “simply focus on what needs to be done.” It’s a familiar yet worthwhile reminder. Daily refocus on what’s practical will help you capture some Zen moments and rekindle joy in what you do.
In this unscripted shift to an increasingly virtual world, Comfort Life offers tools to help you do what needs to be done. You can now add a banner saying Book a Virtual Tour to your ComfortLife.ca profile, and welcome virtual meetings with prospects. Several communities have already added this option, and we list all retirement homes with virtual tours. You can also add a virtual open house in c-panel. Ask your account manager for more details.
We continue to spread good news stories. In April, our website reached 50,000 Canadians who still find us at the top of search results, and continue researching retirement and care. We’re pleased to be a part of an industry that is responding to, and growing from the crisis, as seen by the launch of the Senior Living CaRES Fund early in May.
