Over recent years, Comfort Life’s original potential has come to fruition, with ComfortLife.ca growing into a contemporary virtual assistant, and we’ve continuously rolled out articles and tools that improve, deepen, and sharpen Canadians’ research into retirement living and senior care. The cresting wave of aging baby boomers is at or over retirement age and they want to live well. With that in mind, we believe Comfort Life can become a cultural force, showing this generation how to find the very best in senior living, then achieving the life they dream of.

There’s no greater joy than spreading the light that you, our members, share. We had that privilege again, recently, sharing the delightful narrative told in our Insider Perspective Meet the Manager videos series. We know that Patricia Penner of Tapestry Wesbrook Village speaks for so many members, when she says, “We’re catering to older adults that want to have an active and engaged life, and to actually fulfill dreams that they’ve always had.”

These videos also highlight the passion you bring to your work. “It’s all about the people,” as Sharon Lusch of the Concorde Retirement Residence (Penticton) says. “Making them feel safe, comfortable, and happy about their choice.” And, of course, there’s the joy you take in the company of your residents, shown by Adam Cranley of Metta Lifestyles Greenview Retirement, who “[loves] hearing their stories and listening to wisdom they share.”

In upcoming months, our message will deepen as we launch our thought leadership series, showcasing visionaries behind Canada’s top communities and senior care brands. These leaders show profound insight into the needs of our aging baby boomers.

This is why we do what we do, to help people better understand their retirement-living choices and the people and brands leading change. And our audience grows all the time. Through the first three months of 2021, we reached 251,881 visitors, setting us on a trajectory to engage with 1 million people this year, through our website alone. Of course, this is in addition to the avid readers of our annual magazine, along with our monthly newsletter subscribers. We’re progressively deepening our influence and changing the way Canadians consider, research, compare, and choose retirement living.
