For many years now, Comfort Life has been the platform Canadians have steadfastly turned to for all their senior care and retirement decisions, and we continue to reach new heights in influence. This month, ComfortLife.ca already set a new traffic record, as Canadians research their options on our platform more than ever. Through the first half of January, visitors using ComfortLife.ca were up 50% over the same period last year, reaching 40,932 users.

As people research retirement living options, it's no secret they're looking carefully for information about your handling of life under COVID-19. It's why, across our website, we're continuing to share positive stories, personal perspectives, and resident and family reviews that provide insight into the amazing work and dedication of your staff during this difficult time.

But we're also going to the source. Over the last couple of months, we've been interviewing general managers and leaders from within communities across the country. “I love working with seniors,” says Linda Portsmouth, community leasing coordinator at Aster Gardens in Sherwood Park, Alberta. “It’s really good to see them in a place that’s made for them and that they really love, where they’re making new connections.” That thought is echoed throughout videos. The “Manager's Insight Video Series” will be launched online within the next month and promoted on community profiles. These video interviews will give invaluable insight to the thousands of families researching, comparing, and ultimately choosing their next home on our platform.

All of those voices join together to create a powerful message that retirement communities are the best place for seniors to be. As Panchal Mansaram from The Village of Tansley Woods said last year: “On our own, we can be careless at times, especially when we’re all alone.” With several coronavirus vaccines beginning to roll out this month, and retirement communities at the forefront of receiving vaccinations, we’re hopeful that the crisis is receding. As Mansaram puts it, “The true freedom will come later on.”
