Forthcoming changes to the Comfort Life profile will help you with both of these concerns.

We already have an audience that spends significant time reading and studying your brand on ComfortLife.ca. We’re going deeper, though, with two significant additions to the Comfort Life profile launching later this year. These additions will expand users’ research abilities on our platform and provide compelling reasons to take steps toward move-ins. Profiles will express your community’s brand in a way that will fully engage your prospects.

For The Manager FAQs, we’re going to interview users of our site and find out what questions are most important to them. Then we’re going to give you the opportunity to answer those questions in your control panel. We’ll present your responses on a brand new profile that will more completely engage our older audience.

The addition of hand-curated highlights of video interviews will further deepen prospects’ interactions with your profile. Fully highlighted interviews will draw out, in great depth, every positive aspect of families’ experiences with clients. As I shared last month, we’re very excited about launching these stories and emphasizing their relevance for caregiving families across the country.

The goal in these additions is not to increase time on page for ComfortLife.ca (though we certainly expect that to be an effect.) We want to make your job as easy as possible. We want prospects to arrive at your door, well-versed in how your community meets their needs, and how easy the transition is going to be for them. They’ll walk into your lobby already having answers to their most important questions presented to them in a way they found genuinely appealing. They’ll already be comfortable with and confident in you, having consulted with a third-party platform they trust. They’ll be more eager than ever to look closer at your community, knowing that it answers their most important needs. Of course, the final byproduct of this is that you’ll get more move-ins.

We’re as excited by that idea as you are.

  • Call for photos for the 20th annual Comfort Life Retirement Guide. Share your best photos with us for a chance to be featured in this year's Comfort Life guide. Although we primarily use our own professional photography, the last couple editions of Comfort Life included some great member-submitted photos. You can see our own high standards in photos like this and this, but we also received great submissions from clients like this and this.

    Ideas for what to submit:

    • Active people outside, enjoying activities and being social with others
    • Couples or individuals in their suites, to show off how much they're at home
    • Key aspects of the community you’d like to showcase or that you’re proud of
    • Exercise classes or other group activities in the community
    • Light, fun shots of people having fun and enjoying each others’ company
    • People enjoying the pursuit of personal passions like painting, gardening, etc.
    • Dining (from communities that have chef-prepared meals, etc.)

    You can submit photos by sharing a Google Drive folder, Dropbox, or WeTransfer link (or other similar service). Please send files to our designer ([email protected]) and me, and copy your Comfort Life account manager. Final deadline for submissions is August 15, 2022.   • Improvement to your online profile. We updated the neighbourhood function in your Comfort Life c-panel. You can now identify the exact location of amenities near your community by simply selecting the exact address using Google Maps’ API. We encourage you to update addresses for previous entries and to add more. Tell people what makes your neighbourhood such a pleasant extension of your community!
