This being our 20th year, I’d like to take a minute to say “thank you” to members. Every one of you is unique, working with Comfort Life to help build a national platform that presents the very best of the retirement industry. Together, we help show how seniors find renewed joy in life, discover new friendships, and create a new home for themselves in the communities you’ve helped form and run.

You all do visionary work that encourages us to promote you on a platform that offers Canadians the finest information, resources, and tools. These include our checklist, our comparison engine, our guides, and of course, your profile on Comfort Life. We’re taking leaps to transform it into a next-level marketing tool that will fully showcase all aspects of your community. People will know how great you are before they even call you.

The last two years may have felt like 10, but the last 20 years have gone by fast, and been fun, enlightening, and inspiring. We’ve learned about what you do, how critical and helpful you are for families, how much positive impact you have on people’s lives, how hard you work, and how much gratitude you truly deserve, which, alas, can never be conveyed in words.

It’s an honour to work with you. Let’s all have at least 20 more amazing years together!

 

In other news

  • Our new approach in the 20th annual Comfort Life retirement guide. We’re excited about a new focus to this year’s magazine content. Editorial will centre on the journey prospects take, covering questions they have on the way. Responses given will emphasize quotes from family members and residents of member communities, who’ve taken the journey ahead of readers. We also plan to include our full “Ultimate Retirement Tour Guide.” All together, content will be more engaging and immediately relatable to readers than ever before. We’ll provide an indispensable guide for Canadian seniors and families.

  • Reminder: Book your Family Insight video to drive move-ins if you’re a Gold Member and haven’t already done so. These videos, along with the hand-curated highlights of them we’re adding this year, will provide powerfully personal, relatable testimony to the value that your community offers both families and their loved ones.

  • Your Comfort Life print profile is part of your brand. All Comfort Life members receive a ⅓-page community profile in the magazine. Please submit clean copy through your admin panel. We also want to remind members to review previously-submitted print profile content to ensure all spelling and punctuation errors are removed, so that your brand is well-represented.
