UNDERSTANDING NO-CLICK MARKETING AND HOW IT IMPACTS YOUR INFLUENCE

Clicks have been the cornerstone metric of digital marketing for years, but their importance is now being reevaluated in the evolving landscape of online interaction. The rise of AI-powered tools like ChatGPT, DeepSeek, and Google's AI Overviews in search results marks another shift from traditional click-centric models.

Today, marketers increasingly stress the importance of no-click marketing and influence over clicks. “Where your traffic comes from in your analytics is not the same as understanding where your audience is being influenced,” says Rand Fishkin. His company, Sparktoro did a study that found that search only accounts for 10% of consumers’ overall online activity, in spite of the fact that it drives 70-80% of traffic for most websites. It’s simple: People’s time online doesn’t always have a transactional end goal.

For marketers like you, there’s immense value in the content you have on platforms where people are—where decisions happen—without focusing only on referral clicks. It’s critical to engage families wherever they’re spending their time away from your site.

Every month, 100,000 families use OurKids.net and Camps.ca to research and choose camps and programs. They value the ability to compare options in context, supplemented with data and authentic stories. As a result, OUR KIDS member camps and programs fill their seats.

Clicks aren't the only goal. They're a proxy of your brand influence. The real measure? Change. Are you moving your market? Shifting perspectives? Creating true believers? Smart marketers focus on impact, not metrics. They understand the distinction and make decisions that drive meaningful change.

And that's what we're here to support—helping you create lasting impact.
